EDITORIAL & ADVERTISING POLICY

GameStamped Media is an independent sports media organization covering high school athletics, athletes, teams and communities throughout the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. This policy explains how we maintain editorial independence, identify paid content, accept advertising and respond to concerns involving our coverage.
Editorial Independence
GameStamped Media maintains full editorial control over all content published on its website and social media platforms. Our editors determine which games, teams and athletes receive coverage, the subjects and focus of each story, and when content requires correction. Advertisers, sponsors, and parents may not improperly influence our independent reporting or require favorable coverage.
We strive to publish accurate, fair and original reporting. We make reasonable efforts to verify names, scores, statistics, and other factual information before publication. Opinions or commentary will be clearly presented as such when necessary.
Corrections and Complaints
Requests for corrections may be submitted to editor@gamestampedmedia.com. We review reported errors and determine appropriate responses including correcting inaccurate information, adding clarifications, or including editor notes. Disagreement with tone or opinion does not automatically require correction.
Student-Athletes and Minors
We recognize many athletes in our coverage are minors. We approach student-athlete coverage professionally and avoid publishing private, exploitative or unnecessarily harmful information. Photographs from publicly accessible sporting events may be published as news coverage. Requests to remove content will be considered for safety, privacy, or factual concerns.
Paid and Sponsored Content
Paid content will be clearly identified using labels such as Sponsored, Paid Partnership, or Advertisement. Payment does not allow a sponsor to secretly control editorial decisions. GameStamped Media retains final editorial control over all sponsored material published through its platforms.
Advertising Standards
We do not accept advertising for alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, adult content, or political campaigns. All advertisements must be lawful, truthful and clearly distinguishable from independent editorial content. GameStamped Media reserves the right to reject any sponsorship conflicting with its standards.
Advertiser and Sponsor Influence
Advertisers may not control independent news coverage or demand the removal of accurate reporting as a condition of advertising. We do not allow advertisers to preview or approve independent editorial stories before publication.
Conflicts of Interest
Team members must disclose relationships that could affect their coverage. When appropriate, we may reassign coverage or include disclosure to protect editorial integrity.
Photography and Content Rights
Original materials created by GameStamped Media remain our intellectual property. Content may not be copied, altered, or used commercially without permission. Purchasing a media package does not transfer copyright unless specifically agreed in writing.
Policy Enforcement
GameStamped Media reserves the right to interpret and enforce this policy based on the facts of each situation. Questions regarding standards, corrections, or advertising may be directed to editor@gamestampedmedia.com.

Payment does not allow a sponsor or customer to misrepresent facts or secretly control GameStamped Media’s editorial decisions. We retain final editorial control over sponsored material. Sponsored content will not be presented as independent reporting when payment or another material benefit influenced its creation.
